This page explains what data Album Fête uses, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible for your data
Gregory Pace
14 rue de la Klebsau, 67100 Strasbourg
Contact: pace.gregory@orange.fr
The data used
- For the organiser: their email address, and the name and date of the party. The email address is only used to send them the management link for their album and to pre-fill the payment page if they unlock the album.
- For guests: the photos they send and, if they write in the guest book, the first name and message they leave there. No address is asked of them.
- For payment: it is processed by Stripe. We only receive confirmation that the payment went through, never the card details.
- Technical data: like any website, the server temporarily records visitors' IP addresses in its logs, for the security and proper running of the service.
The photos
The photos in an album are visible to anyone who has the link or the QR code of that album. They do not appear anywhere else on the site, and we ask search engines not to index albums.
Each photo is reduced in size in the browser before it is sent. This removes the information recorded by the device in the original file, such as where the photo was taken.
If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, ask the organiser of the party, who can delete it immediately, or write to pace.gregory@orange.fr.
How long data is kept
- An album, its photos and the email address of its organiser are deleted 6 months after the date of the party, or after the album was created if that is later.
- The organiser can delete a photo at any time from their management page.
- Payment records are kept for the period required by law.
- The server's technical logs are kept for a few weeks.
Who the data is shared with
Your data is neither sold nor used for advertising. It is processed by:
- OVH, which hosts the site and the photos, in France;
- Stripe, for payment;
- Resend, for sending emails.
Stripe and Resend may process some data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by European regulations.
Cookies
Album Fête uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools. The payment page is provided by Stripe, which may place its own cookies there, as needed for payment security.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or have deleted the data that concerns you, and object to its use. Write to pace.gregory@orange.fr: we will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at www.cnil.fr.
